    Average month-end to month-end return of ordinary shares in each of twelve sectors, with the number of companies counted.

    Method
    Closes adjusted for bonus and rights issues; a company counts in a month if it traded on at least 8 sessions; sectors need at least 2 companies.

In preparation

  • Macro monitor. Nepal Rastra Bank's monthly macroeconomic and financial tables: inflation, remittances, balance of payments, reserves, credit, deposits and interest rates.
  • Merchandise trade. Exports and imports by commodity and partner country from Department of Customs releases. Our current file stops at fiscal year 2021/22 and has no partner breakdown, so it is not published.
  • Hydropower tracker. Company- and project-level fields from listed hydropower companies’ filings, once each value is verified against its source document.
  • Budget execution. Spending and revenue against budget from Financial Comptroller General Office reports.
