Where it stands
Verification in progress107 companies and 278 projects have been extracted. Figures publish once each value has been checked against the filing it came from.
The commonest faults in extracted filings are units and periods: a capacity stated in kilowatts read as megawatts, a figure from the wrong fiscal year. Each is ruled out field by field before anything appears here.
What each record holds
- Capacity
- Installed capacity in MW, project type (run-of-river, peaking, storage), river and district
- Operation
- Commercial operation date, the date required under the power purchase agreement, and licence expiry
- Power purchase
- Counterparty, signing date and term, dry- and wet-season tariffs, escalations remaining
- Generation
- Contracted energy or plant load factor against energy actually generated, by fiscal year
- Balance sheet
- Borrowings outstanding and repayment structure
- Ownership
- Promoter holding, lock-in expiry and listing date; stakes held in subsidiaries and associates
- Risk
- Catchment, flood and landslide history, transmission constraints
Every value carries its unit, the period it refers to, and at least one source: the company's annual report, quarterly report or other filing, with the quoted passage. Values taken only from third-party data portals are not published.
